How can I take a cooking oil stain from my shirt?

Question:

Answers:
I rub a little Dawn dish soap into the stain about 20 minutes before washing it. However, if you have already run it through the dryer, you have likely set the stain. In this case, make a paste of Dawn and baking soda. Apply it to the stain and let it sit overnight. Then wash as usual.

I soak mine in Dawn dish liquid overnight. It works great on grease!
It depends on the colour & the fabric. I have found best results with either Spray & Wash or Oxyclean...or sometimes both. Spray it immediately with the S&W and let it soak a bit in the Oxy before you wash it. If it has already "set"...again depending on fabric, I would still try to S&W {or some other stain releaser...Shout...whatever} lightly "scrub" the fabric, and let it soak a bit in either the Oxy or just the pre-treater and water--warm but not hot. After you wash, be sure to make sure the stain is gone before you put it in the dryer. Once you do that, it's pretty much set for life. There are times I have repeated the pre-treatment...and then there are just those times you gotta write it off as a "loss".
Full strength liquid laundry detergent (dish liquid or shampoo would work in a pinch), rub into fabric, wait about 3-5 minutes, put in washer with regular load.
