What can you use to get rid of cigarette odours from leather suites?
Question:
Answers:
Leather does not naturally harbour odours. The problem usually lies within the interiors of the suite. If you can get to the cushions have these cleaned. Spray all fabric areas with febreeze but do not use on the leather itself.
Clean the leather with a good foam leather cleaner on a regular basis and protect with a good leather protector. Use Leather Aroma to mask any remaining smell.
It should clear if this is followed.
Snow or Febreeze
The one thing that really destroys cigarette odor is an ozonator. Perhaps you could rent one and leave the suit (suite? do you mean clothing or furniture?) in a room with the ozonator running for a few hours. Problem solved.
make up a solution of leather cleaner in warm water and add some bicarbanate of soda, then gently 'wash' over affected areas, rinse and buff dry - and spray febreeze down the back of the sofa.
I would try and hang it outside on the hanger for a little while. The sun and out door air helps alot.
Have you tried using baby wipes, then rinse with cold water and dry well
