How do you clean a filter in an air purifier?


Question:In the model I have the filters never need replacement but they do need to be cleaned. I tried looking for the product manual online everywhere but I can't find it.

Basically I'm just looking for some generic advice on how you clean these filters if anyone has had experience doing so...

As I understand it all you need to do with those is run them under the water to clean them.
