How can I get toothpaste stains off an 80/20 wool/nylon ivory carpet? Spotting the stains with 1001, no good!?

2 way´s, use your own hair shampoo, which work´s just as good or add a small amount of your own dish washing liquid. 1 of these will remove the stain. rinse well. Use a sponge whilst washing the stain, as brushes break the fibres in the carpet. Once you have washed and rinsed this area , I would suggest you lay a towel with a heavy object on top. this will help`dry any up any water from the underside of your carpet . leave like this over night. You will have to steam clean this area at a later date , As sooner or later the water mark always reaches the surface
