How to cure damage caused by bleach?
Question:I have ruined b favourite T-shirts by accidently dropping some clorox bleach on it. It is black colored T shirt and where bleach drops came in contact with the T -shirt it has turned bronze. Please help me recover my Tshirt. thanks

Sorry, but you're out of luck. I guess you could try dyeing the whole shirt, because it's ruined anyway. You can't make it any worse.
sorry guest.bleach does what is says and says what it does...no surprises.but the good news is you can always dye the clothing black again.
just go to walmart laundry aisle, buy black liquid dye and follow the instructions.
hint (if you dye the shirt in a large pot on the stove, the dye job will take much better because the water will be much hotter than in the washer).

i would have to agree w/ the others... u'r kinda SOL... but dying the whole shirt again, would help b/c trying to match up the black will b hard unless u'r expert at color matching. Then u could use fabric paint b/c believe it or not.. black is black... there r diff. shades of it. same w/white. I had a navy shirt that happen w/ the same thing.. i used fabric paint tinted w/ some black or white to get to the rt navy on the shirt & doctored it up... same w/ carpet. As long as it hasn't turned completely yellow or white.. u may still have a chance b/c the fibers rn't ruined. IF they ruined... then u may have a problem & could try dying it or tye dying like others have mentioned.
Black dye or black permanent marker. I have ruined many things with a splash of bleach. I stopped using it. I do use Triple action Oxiclean Liquid, unscented. so far, so good.
