What is the best way to clean an HE washing machine around the seal?
Question:We have several dogs, cats and 1 wolf and the fur is unbelieveable. I scoop the fur out and put in the trash but the seal looks a little grimey. Suggestions?

Clean with vinegar and wipe off with a clean cloth. Run an empty cycle with 2 cups of vinegar. This will clean the inside and the drain.
Simple enough, Pour on some White Vinegar on a cloth or sponge, whichever you prefer to use to clean with then wipe around seal thats all there is too it. Good Luck !
I just take a wet washcloth and run it around the inside of the drum and the seal at the same time. You'd be surprised how much hair and dirt come off. Do this every time before you wash. Rinse out the washcloth and wash with the other clothes. Even dampening the cloth with water and laundry detergent will help get the grime off.
