Any reviews good/bad on that Roomba floor vacuum thing?

Question:(especially for low pile carpet)

Answers:
It's wonderful, especially for hardwood/tile/low pile carpet. New, high-pile carpet that gives off a lot of fuzz when you vacuum can be a problem (for Roomba or a traditional vacuum) -- the fuzz gets inside the machine and gums up the works (gears, wheels, etc.).

But for your situation, it's really good. You need to empty the bin each time (I do so before pressing setting it down and pressing "clean") and you need to clean the brushes every three or four times (maybe every other time if you have a dog or cat, since hair is what gets tangled in the brushes).

The Roomba requires just as much maintenance as a regular vacuum -- the nice thing about it is that it will vacuum after you leave the house. :-)

I have 2 customers who have them and swear by them. They let that thing loose throughout the house. It adapts to all flooring surfaces and does a great job by their admission.Beats doing it yourself when you have no time.It even puts itself away. How can you beat that??Good Luck.
