How much should I charge to do my neighbors laundry?
Question:I will be using their washer/dryer and cleaning products.
Answers:
I was surprised at the other responses, laundry is involved from start to finish, so if it is general, everyday washing, I was thinking in the minimum area of $5/load, and for heavy duty/specialty scrubbing/prepping/delicates, I'd add more. Also consider other factors, will this include undergarments? Make sure you and the person you are working for have a clear understanding of what is expected - especially if they have garments that can't just be thrown in together (cold water only, air dry only, wash with like colors, etc.) Also check out the resource below to get a better idea of what laundry icons represent, so you can't be held at fault for following the manufacturers directions if something doesn't come out right. It sounds silly, but you may not do laundry the same as them, like I dump everything in the same wash cycle, but half I air dry to avoid shrinkage possibilities. Some people are very picky about what colors to put together, or what types of fabric can be washed/dryed in the same load. Others don't care, they just want it off the floor. =)
how long does it take to do the actual work fold put away load unload $1.00 per load
well depends on how much the luandry smells, y'know?'cuz you might need too wash yours too!
idk - about...2 to 3 $? if u wanted real $, u'd have 2 find a real job, this is 4 little kids 2 do.
depends on how much laundry and how dirty
if you are using their washer and dryer and products i would say 3 bucks per load, if you have to iron anything charge 50 cents per ironed item.
i wash clothes for a couple single guys my fiance works with and i charge them 5$ a load (i use my machines and they buy their soap) oh and anything ironed i charge them 50 cents a shirt.
