How do you get the smell of dog pee out of the car back seat?
Question:I took my two dogs to the vet in my car, normally they would never pee on the seat but one is female and the other is male, and everywhere the female pees, the male has to cover it with his pee, anyways my female dog wasn't feeling well and she had an accident, so of course the male had to cover it with his pee too, and now i can't get the smell out, i got the stain out ok, its just no matter what i do the smell won't go away and now im worried that everytime the dogs go into my car, they'll pee again because they can smell it, anyone have any suggestions?

There's a product that kills odors very well--even cat spray.
It's Odo-Ban (get it a WAl-Mart or Sam's CLub). Use a lot of it (it has to sink into the fabric and the padding all around where the dogs peed). When you think you've used enough, use more.
After the car seat dries, use ScotchGard or other protectant so any further incidences won't soak into the seats.
try simple green, it usually works for me, or go to the pet supply store they have a product called urine gone it also works great.
If you're a true dog lover, you shouldn't mind the smell. Leave it alone, you'll get used to it.
shamppo your back seat and after your done spray some febreeze
try a per stain remover that has an odor fighting ingredient or saturate some paper towel with vinegar and leave it on your seat for an hour to soak up any remaining odor.
Baking soda, and another is take the set out and wash it, also charcoal is excellent for smell.
PetSmart has a lot of items that you can buy to completely eliminate the odor. Good luck!
most pet stores have products to remove pet smells from furniture and such.
