How do you get gum off of a pair of pants? Tried gum.?

ZIPPO lighter fluid. Squirt some onto a rag. Scrub it into the gum. It will dissolve completely. There will be none on the pants or the rag. It magically disappears. lol Let them air out and they are good to go. It also works on floors, wood, upholstery and carpet. It will do the same thing for candle wax. I have been using it for this for 30 years, and have not found anything that it has hurt. I keep a can in my cabinet, even though we have no lighters that use it.
Try goo gone
You can use ice to harder the gum and then it is easier to peel off. If you try to peel it before you harden it with the ice, then you will only push it further into the fibers.
I use an ice cube to freeze the gum & then very patiently pick it off but they have a product out called :
Gum-Out is specially formulated to break down the gum and make it easier to remove the gum and prevent a stain. Then, after the stain removal, the clothes can be washed
The ice cube method previously mentioned.
Put your pants in the freezer and then you can peel it off better when frozen or get goo begone!
I tried all the products out there and Goo-Gone is the best, it leaves no trace of any mark.
