How to wash/dry fitted sheets without all of the other sheets/pillowcases getting tangled?
Question:Every time I throw the fitted sheets in with the rest of the wash, everything 'balls up' in the fitted sheet . this is particularly annoying when you go to take things out of the dryer and find a wet ball of clothes wrapped up in the fitted sheet. I live in an apartment building so it can be expensive to always wash/dry these sheets separately (which is what I do now)

You could put the sheet in one of those large mesh laundry bags...you know, the ones mom used to put her panty hose and undergarments in!
ummm i would try to do a load and try to separate them on the other sides of the washer and dryer.
Washing the sheets & pillow cases alone is best. They'll also dry faster than they would if you had clothes of other fabrics in with the sheets, etc. Make sure you always shake out your clothing, sheets, etc, before drying in the dryer. It shakes out the wrinkles & allows the load to dry faster, which saves on electricity/money if you have to pay to wash your clothes in your apartment building. Just food for thought. :)
King size sheets are the worse! The only way I've found to keep them from balling up is to check the load about every 10 minutes and shake it out if they are starting to ball. It's a pain, but only for about 30 or 40 minutes compared 2 hours of drying if I don't check the load.
