How much does a Washer & Dryer weigh?

Question:My neighbor is selling their washer and dryer. I'm going to get it because my apartment only has hookups and I really hate using the laundry room. My problem is that I live on the second story apt and I only weigh 115 lbs. My son is 16 and he will be able to help. Would we be able to lift and carry the washer and dryer up the stairs to my apartment or will we need a dolly?
Does anyone know how much a washer and dryer weigh?

You'll need a dolly. A dryer usually doesn't weigh much, but a washer, depending on the type, can weigh a decent amount.
