I am having trouble removing silicone from the vinyl of our back porch?
Question:3 years ago the strips inbetween the vinyl on our porch became loose. ( this is a condo) the handyman removed the strips and filled the crevices with silicone. In the process he smeared the silicone onto the vinyl and now dirt catches on it and I have black streaks on white vinyl. I have tried vinyl cleaner - mineral spirits and goo gone - some come up with lots and lots of elbow grease but at this rate it will take a year. Does anyone know of any solvent or cleaner that i can use Thank you.

Go to Lowe's or a place like that & tell them what you've already used & ask what they recommend. Look on a tube of silicone & see what it says to use for removal. Good luck!
Get the handy man to do a new one again. It will save you more time and trouble, since your silicone is 3 yrs old.
If the surface allows, as in in a less visible place, after the silicone is set, I think sticking a piece of magic tape from 3M may help keeping dirt away.
How about using a large gum eraser?
