Maytag washer drains so fast...?
Question:I have a maytag washer that I've had for about a year. We only used it for about two months before we put it into storage. Every once in awhile we had this problem, but we've moved to a new one and it happens all the time...
While the washer spins, it pumps out so many suds that they over flow out of the drain pipe. So much that it will leave a huge puddle. We stopped using soap in our clothes for a few weeks, that didn't work. I have run the washer with no clothes-no problem when I do that. We have switched to HE laundry detergent because it is supposed to produce less suds. Has anyone else ever had this problem.
Where there is no spillage when there are no clothes in the washer, I don't think it is already full of suds, I also don't think the drain is the problem, it would over flow without clothes too.
Answers:
I would be inclined to think you are using way to much soap in each load of laundry did you know that on most appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers etc. the manufacturer suggested amounts of soap to use is usually twice the needed amount and this is a sales tool to sell more product try using half the regular amount of soap and see what happens.
