How do I clean my shower/bathtub. I live by myself and not exactly sure?

One word: TILEX.
Spray it on, wait ten minutes, lightly scrub with a dish sponge (don't ever use it for dishes again), and rinse.

Spray with Scrubbing Bubbles. It will clean off lime buildup and soap scum. Or CLR is good also. For tiled shower walls, Tilex works awesome!!
The easy way is to keep a spray bottle of diluted Lysol in the bathroom, and after you shower spray it down and dry it off.

But if that won't cut it for whatever reason, get Soft Scrub or Comet, sprinkle that, then scrub with it and rinse well. But make sure you use gloves: There are some strong chemicals on those two cleaners.

If you can't get to the store, even baking soda makes a good scrubbing powder.
I was about to ask a similar question. I just moved to a diff apt, and my old apt had a shiny tub. I kept it that way so easily... rinse the wall down throughly after showering, and dry the wall and tub straight away! I did it even before I got out of the tub, and I tell you, you won't ever have to scrub your tub again!

BUT... the tub in my new apt looks FILTHY!! I scrubbed it with pure Lysol, then comet and an sos pad (no they don't scratch tubs) then BAMM, and today a cleanser called KABOOM... guess what... it still looks filthy!! Now the BAMM & KABOOM are corosives, and if anything should have cleaned it, they should have... but they DIDN'T (can I get a refund please). There is what looks like a ring around the tub, and there's not a speck of shine in it... ANY IDEAS?
