We use a substance called Madacide to disinfect all of our medical equipment and any surfaces contacted with biohazard. If there is a large quantity and it is dry you will have to re-wet it and scrub. USE GLOVES, unless it is your own blood. An oxy-cleaner or Simple green may help to remove the stain itself---we are usually only concerned with removing the biohazard factor, not so much the stain.
