Yea what a stupid name
But they both work well
lick it
what are the stains? Have you tried Cillit Bang, i'v heard that is good for getting rid of stains.
I have no idea how you "get stains of my shower glass?" To get stains off your shower glass use vinegar mixed with fairly hot water.
The one thing that I have found that I just love using to clean my shower is the Mister Clean Magic Eraser. They have different ones depending on what you are cleaning!
Wipe over regularly with distilled vinegar (clear) it will reduce lime deposits.
limaway or CLR. both work great on calcium deposits. I use it all of the time. Also removes hard water spots on the spigot and head. you can put a cup of it up to the shower head and let it soak for a few minutes and whipe it clean.
try the magic erasers or try mean green, it gets stains out of everything!
use limescale remover spray smoothe it all over glass leave overnight wash off and it gleams
You can get the glass initially clean with Soft Scrub, Comet or, if really tough stains are present, with pumice powder made into a paste with water. Don't rub too hard with pumice powder, I think it could scratch the glass. I have heard that it works for taking hard water stains off of auto glass too.
Then, use a shower spray every time you use the shower. Here is a homemade formula I like. 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide, 1/2 cup rubbing alcohol, 6 drops Dawn liquid, two teaspoons liquid dishwasher rinse and 24 oz water.
Very simple. Don't use CLR. Softscrub, vinegar,Lime Away , or any of those things. They'll etch your glass and you'll never get them out.The only, thing that Will safely work, easily work, and work with out scrubbing is Lemon Oil. Rub Lemon oil on it with a soft cloth and watch the stains disappear before your eyes. The More you use it,the more it will take off. Wipe the doors with Lemon Oil, after you shower, and you will never wonder how to remove them again.Lemon Oil has magical powers...oooh Bye.
CLR - WITH MR CLEAN ERASER.
Windex. It works great! Or Mr.Clean Magic Eraser. They both work.
Try lemon juice mixed with bicarbonate of soda. it works and its environmentally friendly
Cleaning Shower Doors
Soap scum is made up of talc, body oils and minerals from hard water. If left to dry, soap scum removal can be one of the most difficult parts of cleaning a bathroom, but it doesn't have to be that way. To eliminate this problem, first try a little preventative maintenance. Keep a squeegee in your bathroom to wipe down shower doors and walls after every bath or shower. In addition, if you use a bar soap, you might want to consider switching to a liquid soap since it doesn't contain talc. Finally, here's a quick soap scum removal tip: use a dryer sheet! Just dampen and wipe along your shower door, soap scum will no longer be an issue. This also works for cleaning bathroom tiles of this unsightly film as well.
i just spray diluted bleach in the shower and on the glass leave for a few hours and then rinse, should improve it.
vinegar lemon juice and water. use it all of the time.
Use a cream of tarter and vinegar paste let sit for 10min rinse and buff with a soft lint free cloth. I also recommend using a squeegee or prepared shower spray in between cleanings.
use lemon oil.
I agree with Rodger I use both those products but why stop calling it Jif?
I would use CLR on the glass and it will come clean.
