Why do I have Flies??
Question:I have a lot of flies in my apartment for some reason. They are everywhere. I hardly open my windows and I don't keep my door open. There are baby ones and big ones. I keep my apt. clean what could it be. Would the Orkin man be able to stop it. I also see a lot of bugs in my apartment. They are doing construction behind my apt. Help!!

you don't need the orkin man for the flies. besides, your apartment should offer bug extermination for free, just call the front office and ask them (i would tell them about the other bugs getting in for sure!).
for the flies, this happens a lot around this time of year. the spring fruits we bring in our house (ESPECIALLY BANANAS) have larvae on the peel. if you don't put the fruit in the fridge, the larvae hatch and voila! you have a gnat/fly problem on your hands. so, get the fruit off the counter and into the fridge or a closed container like a rolled up paper bag (because bananas in the fridge are super gross). kill the flies you see with a swatter...but don't worry, they have a short lifespan, so those annoying little pests should be dead in a couple of days.

exterminator, they r there from fruit, food, sugar.
Neighboring trees or non hygienic trash in the vicinity of your windows. Try opening the kitchen window and using a screen.
