How can i get rid of roaches?

I had rented my house and the tenants left a roach infestation.
I tried everything from bombs to sprays and nothing worked. The product that finally worked was Combat Roach Gel. Let me tell you, it is a miracle product! Within a couple of weeks they were all gone. I was sweeping them up in piles everyday!
Just a couple of suggestions:
-Wipe off all counters. Including under toaster etc.
-Sweep floor daily. Vacuum daily.
Fix any leaks. Did you know that a roach can live for weeks without food, but not more than a week without water? Every see a roach without a head but still alive? They finally die because they can't drink! Sooo, make sure there is no running water and pour Lysol in the drains before you go to bed. This pollutes the water supply.
-Rinse off dishes and load into dishwasher (if you have one) after use. If not wash often.

just use the spray really and when you see one go after it but you can also use the white chalk that kills them when they crawl over it. I don't know the exact name of it but you can usually get it at any hardware store
You cant you can only control the population by not keeping food out ,don't let food crumbs over night , spray house with bug sray every so ofthen, if its a big problem call an exterminator .
Clean out all cabinets and spaces where you see them, and then put boric acid (it’s a powder you can get at most hardware stores) you can also by it as a bait in all cracks and crevices also check door hinges behind light switches and covers and put all food in tight containers. Call and exterminator!
