Wine stain.?

Question:How would I remove an old wine stain from carpet?

Answers:
The best thing I've found to get rid of wine stains is Wine Away. It works best if the stain is fresh but it works pretty well with older stains as well. You just spray it on and the stain fades immediately. You can find it at most fine wine shops or you could probably track it down online too.

Good luck!

If it is red wine, use white wine to remove it.
I think you can remove red wine with white wine-pour white wine on the spot let it set for about twenty minutes than take a clean dry cloth and dap it,don't rub it in just keep dapping with a dry cloth untill it is all dry and it should be gone. repeat if necessary. or if you don't want to waste the wine try club soda.
try a paste of cream of tartar and peroxide
Oxyclean worked great for us.
Grab white wine and pour it on or saturate with salt and follow with club soda. Don't be afraid to really pour on the club soda, the carbonation will bubble up the spill so that you can blot it up. Continue to pour and absorb until all color from the stain has been blotted up and towel is coming up clean. Follow with a carpet spotter. A great carpet spotter is Wine Away Red Wine Stain Remover. It is excellent for removing fresh red stains as well as old red stains.
