How do you remove scorch marks from a tea kettle?
Question:I have a white tea kettle from Le Creuset which is heavy gauge steel coated with hard, glossy enamel. Accidently, the pot was boiled dry and scorch marks appeared on the outside base. Can the scorch marks be removed?
Answers:
Try using baking soda, or Borax, scrub lightly with steel wool. Let the baking soda sit for a few hours before scrubbing. Regards-Bob.
hmmmm.you might want to try some CLR on it, you can pick it up at walmart or other stores like that. you could also try some ammonia. windex might work also. as a last resort you could use some very fine steel wool and it would take some of the finish off but if you use the fine stuff it will polish it back up with enough rubbing
Try SOS or Brillo pads.
