Does fanning clothes help to dry them?


Question:My flatmate and I are at odds about this matter. Im on the "I dont think they do dry quicker" side.

Yes. If you studied evaporation in school you would know that a more rapid air movement above a water's surface is one of a few things which quickens the evaporation process and I'm quite convinced this applies to clothes as well.

As long as there's less moisture in the air than in the item, fanning will help it dry quicker.
