Chaptstick help! How to get out of laundry after been through dryer?
Question:Tiny grease stains are all over our cotton whites--esp my husband's shorts.
Is all hope lost since it has already been through the dryer?

Nope, just throw them back in the washer with a little extra detergent... Let it soak for about on 1 hour then wash as normal. Use some good hot water since they are whites.
I don't know how many times I've washed my chapstick... and even dried it (the dryer is usually where the mess takes place).
Time to check pockets, I'd say! However.. it's not the end of the world.. and your whites will soon be chap-free.

Chapstick leaves grease stains as you found out. I tend to drip on my cloths alot when eating and have found the PERFECT answer. I just put plain old dish detergent on them. Make sure it is not one with bleach in it. If it has a degreaser in it the better. Then rewash and the spots should be gone.
Try using Dawn dish soap and a soft bristled brush, like a toothbrush, to work it in on the stains.
Once you've done that, toss the article of clothing into the laundry, on warm, and keep your fingers crossed.
You may be able to save the clothing!

my mom always uses dawn to get out greasy stains and it works.
I had the same problem. I used Oxy Clean, in the powder form, mixed with bleach. When mixed together, it makes a great foam, so be careful. Two scoops of Oxy Clean, mixed w/ a 1/2 cup of Bleach. Worked excellent!! Good luck.
