There is a product called goo-gone that may work. If it doesn't you can try non-acetone nail polish remover..don't use polish remover w/ acetone it will discolor the carpet. If all else fails call a cleaning service they will be able to tell you. Good luck

there are products.. such as goof off, or simple lighter fluid may do the trick... just dont light it.
