Question:Whats the best way to clean tile grout? I just had new porcelain ceramic tile layed in my entire house. I moved in a few days ago. I am thinking about cleaning and sealing the grout. Any advice on what products or machines to use to clean the grout and then what to use to seal it?

a steam cleaner is the best, it doesnt leave residue, if your porcelain tiles are polishe not glace i would recomend that you have the tiles sealed as well as the grout, porcelain is pourus nad will stain easily, you will have to contact a tile shop to find the correct product for your tiles, be careful i have seen irrepearable damage done by people applying the wrong sealer to their ceramic type.
the have all that stuff in the home stores ( Lowes, Home Depot) whoever layed your floor should have done that, or you should have made sure they did it, before you moved in...
Also ceramic flooring is not great for a whole house. If you drop something it will crack/break and it gets stained and soiled easily. Make sure you have rubber/plastic holders for all your furniture to set in (Lowes, Home Depot) or it will scratch and break the tiles...
ever heard of oxalic powder?if so..1 /30 ml of oxalic powder per 1 pail of water..just pour to the tile grout and brush..
Try tile grout cleaners.
The only way to clean tile and grout is with a damp rag soaked in plain water(warm if you like).Most tile grout is usually waterproofed anyway.You shouldn't need to seal tiles.I don't think you need to seal it. We have tiles and they have a coated surface, and grout is a waterproof grout. Have you checked with tile center? Seems a whole heap of bother if you don't have to.
