Can anyone advice me on a dyson dc07, is it worth the money?

I have a Bissel and I am happy with it. I've never owned a Dyson.
I bought a dc17 (animal) last fall out of necessity (a smoking vacuum doesn't work well!). I have not regretted the purchase. It does appear that suction is not diminished as gunk is sucked up. I'm amazed at the amount of fine dust the Dyson picks up.
Dyson's are awesome vacuums. I would go with the animal version because of all the extra attachments you get with it. The DC17 Absolute is easier to use than some of the older versions, if you want to pay a little more. Good luck!
