Can anyone tell me the best way to get rid of or eliminate gnats/flies that come out in summertime?
Question:I live in a townhouse with upstairs and downstairs. It is a lovely home in a lovely neighborhood. However, when the spring/summer time roll around, the gnats become horrible. I have tried everything and nothing is working. I have tried bleach down the drains, cleaning and taking the trashout every night, washing dishes constantly, not leaving any food out. I have even ran my family upstairs because of raid flying insect spray. Please help.

One thing you can do that will help control them is to also make sure there's no standing water around your house for them to breed in. Also, use a white plate, put some water on it with a drop of lemon-scented dishsoap. Who knows why, but they're attracted to the plate and then they drown.
Mix two ounces of cider vinegar with two to three drops of liquid dishwashing soap and place in small juice glasses or baby food jars, mix up several glasses of this and place around the house, it will attract the gnats and it will drown them, wait a few days and check the bottom of the glasses out you will be suprised..this really works.
