What works best besides just hot water to clean wood laminate floors?

Question:I've tried different things that just make the floors cloudy.Any suggestions?Thanx all.

Answers:
CLEAN your laminate flooring with these general guidelines

Remove loose dirt by using a non-beater bar vacuum or a dust mop.
With a damp mop or cloth, clean your laminate flooring once a week with EverClean from Shaw's line of floor covering care products. If EverClean is not available, use a vinegar solution (1/4 cup of white vinegar to 2 gallons of clean tap water) or a nonabrasive household cleaner, such as ammonia and water solution. Do not saturate the flooring.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, soap-based detergents, waxes, polishes, or scouring powder because they may scratch or dull the flooring surface.
Wipe up spills immediately. Avoid allowing liquids to stand on your flooring.
A more frequent dust mopping or vacuuming schedule may be required in high traffic or sandy areas.
For tough spots, such as candle wax or chewing gum, harden the spot with ice and then gently scrape the spot with a plastic scraper. Even a credit card will do. Be careful not to scratch the flooring surface. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Do not use any type of buffing machine

Vinegar added to the water works great on both hard wood and laminate flooring
I like to use the swiffer wet jet, except I take a spray bottle with water and dilute as I go, works great.
idk
I have Pergo floors and I use 1/4 cup of Windex to about 1 gal of water. you have to use the ol' elbow grease to clean them. Also, you have to dry them immediately with a towel. that will reduce spots too.
Murphy's Soap
Add a quarter cup of vinegar to a gallon of water. Dry immediately as you go.
First of all, never wet mop a laminate floor. Use a damp cloth or mop, not a sopping wet one. The water will seep into the cracks and cause damage.

I suggest a swiffer, it is your best bet. Don't use anything with waxes or oils on a laminate floor.
