Stainless Steal Cookware-How to keep shinny?

Question:We have a beautiful set of stainless steal cookware. How do you keep these clean without useing harmfull products? Vinegar and water doesn't seem to work. I know you can buy the brand name 'cleaner' for them but we are so against using products in our home. This is especialy when you are going to eat from them. Any hints?

Answers:
Tomato sauce or stewed tomatoes from the can.The acidity in the tomatoes does a beautiful job.My wife uses this method ,and it works great.

Another thing is make sure after they are washed they are dried right away with a cotton cloth. This helps keep away the wet streak look.
Step One-Use warm, soapy water - or a gentle dishwashing cycle - for everyday cleaning, and dry your cookware thoroughly with a soft cloth.

Step Two-Use a mixture of 25 percent white vinegar in water to remove mineral deposits left by hard water.

Step Three-Remove burned-on food from a stainless steel pan by pouring boiling water into the pan. Let it set for 15 minutes. If the pan still won't come clean, let the water cool, then wash with warm soapy water and a scrub brush made of nylon.
Step Four-Remove rust with an oxalic acid cleaner such as Bar Keepers Friend.

Step Five-Use glass cleaner and a soft cloth to remove fingerprints.

Step Six-Polish stainless steel with a paste made of water and baking soda. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

***Do not use a cleaner that contains chlorine bleach.

***After using the stainless steel cleanser use ultra Palmolive soap to add shine to the cookware. A combination of stainless steel cleaner and dishwashing soap will do the trick.

I hope this was helpful,Take Care! :)
