The top 3 brands will do you fine, the most important thing is to get a extended warranty, trust me appliances are not made the they used to be made, one service call is expensive, with good extended warrantys, you pay nothing neither for the service call, repair or parts.
The size of it on the inside, the settings of it and see if you can get an Energy Star washer so you can save money on your bills too.
Is it a Kenmore??
A washing machine? The size, i don't know. It's not like buying a car.
a washer that has energy savers and has large capacity
check for the capacity that you need. Also look for the energy rating guide that is posted on it. Finally, look for any features that you may want on it. good luck
I recommend that you go to your local library and look up back issues of the Consumer Reports. You will find good and unbiased information on what to look for.
Buy a middle of the road Maytag or Kenmore. You don't need every single feature the expensive models have. All the newer ones have Energystar and may have community water rebates as well, but if you get a front loader you will need the HD detergent which is the same price. Look at Home Depot or Lowe's, not just Best Buy (bad selection) or Sears (commission starved sales staff).
Note: if you use the regular detergent in a front loader it will foam up and create mold problems on the rubber seal.
i looked for size, water usage, and a delicate cycle. otherwise, they are all similiar.
