What shirt would be hotter 100% cotton or cotton polyester blend?

Question:

Answers:
A cotton poly blend will because polyester is a manmade fiber that doesn't allow the skin to breathe which cotton, a natural fiber, does.

100% cotton breathes better. I would think that the cotton poly blend would be hotter.
A blend. 100 percent cotton does not wick away moisture and shrinks. I was recently surprised to find out that cotton is not the best choice for moisture and heat control. Also the blend makes it more durable in the wash. It is also more wrinkle resistant when it's a blend. I did see on TV that the 100 percent cotton is easier to wash stains out of. So I guess it depends what you are wearing it for.
Definitely a cotton/polyester blend.

Cotton lets your skin breathe and is a natural fabric while polyester is a synthetic material that doesn't really let your skin breathe. It is a cheaper fabric and is known for its versatility because the base chemical in polyester can be made for plastics and films.

However, a blend of cotton and polyester is not so bad. The cotton will let you skin breathe a bit and the polyester will help prevent it from shrinking in the dryer.
Polyester blend would be hotter and the cotton shirt would breath better.
