Question:How do you clean brass?
Thank you & Have a great weekend...

Answers:
The acids in ketchup work wonders when it comes to removing tarnish and buildup from metals such as brass and copper!...:)

Use a mixture of lemon juice and and salt. Wipe on until clean, then rinse and dry. This is not to be used on brass-plated pieces though.
To clean Brass, Copper, Bronze, Pewter and Silver. Clean heavily tarnished brass with a solution of 1 heaped tablespoon of salt and 2 tablespoons of vinegar to a pint of water.
The commercial brass cleaner from "Wrights" is very easy to use. You dont have to polish as much as with the old products. This one is liquid and you just apply, polish a little bit and rinse with water. If you apply and leave it for a while you wont have to polish as much. The results are as good as the old ones and last for the same.
