How do you cleaning caterpiller frass (poop)?

Question:So.. I don't know where else to turn.. last spring I was parking my car in a parking lot with lots and lots of trees.. I was noticing lots of little hard black dots all over my car... I car washed, nothing... If I pick them off with my nail it leaves a black spot that will come off but I have to manually pick them off... I tired sap remover and all types of car cleaners.. my neighbor used his buffer... NOTHING!! I tried the internet but did not come up with anything.. SO.. How do you cleane caterpiller poop (frass) from my car?

i would recommend goof-off. it sells at hardware stores. my husband used it to clean over spray from my cars tire area, where mud flaps meet the painted part of my car. it was on there when we bought it, like 1 year later. just use old soft cloth, rub gently. wash and wax car afterwards. if that does not work, sell the car.
