How come Live Earth did not mention clothes dryers?

Question:It costs alot more than a light bulb. We should hang out our laundry. Screw the covenances.

Answers:
I have always tried to hang my laundry outside, l use 'downy' and l find it is the best softener to use when hanging laundry, albeit it, it is true that one will sometimes need to put stuff in the dryer for a few minutes, to soften up, like jeans etc. I am always amazed at how many people do not hang laundry out, it is free drying.

Spoken like a true male.
Clothes dryers do use a lot of electricity, but they have been making much better models to conserve.

Hanging clothes out is only good at certain times of the year. Dry, spring days. Dry, summer days. Any other times, inside or outside, you get smelly, crunchy clothes. Thats why people use them.
And even when you hang clothes out properly they need a good low heat tumbling.
well because some people live in apartment and condo's where you can't just hang laundry out to dry its actually against the rules of the communites!! so there is no choice!
and dryers are becoming more energy efficient my dry finishes before my washing machine lol!
