Stored chair with white fake leather in plastic&inside carton box&it became yellow.why?smth i can do about it?

Question:

Answers:
it is caused basically by moist and chemical reaction of your fake leather. these types of leather has a brownish base (see its opposite side) and are usually just painted. its true color penetrates to the outside

try applying rubbing compound lightly if its only skin deep. just rubbing compound., nothing else

Fake leather is why! and being stored where heat and moisture were present. You must never oil vinyl as this will make it hard. It is almost impossible to soften again. For proper cleaning, sprinkle baking soda or vinegar on a rough, damp cloth, then wash with a mild dish washing soap.as far as the yellowing I am not exactly sure how to remove this although Vinegar has been known to remove some yellowing on some things and surfaces, you could keep cleaning the chair and if the yellow lightens then you will know that the vinegar is removing it. Good Luck !
