How do I safely remove dried oil from plastic kitchen utensil?

Question:

Answers:
Believe it or not, but you have to fight oil with oil. I had a similar problem when we moved into a home where the previous owners LOVED to deep fry. There was sticky yellow caked on grease all over the front of the stove.
I used spray-on lubricant (WD 40) and it dissolved the chunks of stubborn sticky yellow crap.
Followed it with soapy, sudsy sponge & then rinsed.
You could also try vegetable oil or this product you can find at any hardware store: Goo Gone

Soak them overnight in pure bleach. Then, if there's anything left, scrub them with those thick blue scrubber pads made of fiberglass.

good luck
