Oreck XL professional Air Purifier?

Question:I'm thinking of buying a Oreck XL Professional Air Purifer with Truman cell technowlege.Consumer Reports gives it a low rating. Does anyone have one and whats your opinion ? I'ts for a bedroom and I don't want to throw my money away on a piece of junk. I want to stay away from replacing Air filters Honest answers would be appreciated.

In my opinion you'll be trowing your money away. I believe you do have to buy filters, might be wrong, they may have updated. I found one a Costco for $110.00, no filters, wipe the bars clean, and works like a champ. (might be a little more now I bought it a year ago)
