I spilled Tequila in my car... Help! Any ideas on what to use to clean?
Question:First off, I was not drunk driving ... so don't even start. :) I was bringing some Tequila home from a party Sunday and I left it in my car.
I totally forgot about it, and when I went to take it out of the car today, for some reason the cap was loose and it spilled everywhere!
Now it smells like Margaritaville exploded in my car.
What should I used to clean it?
Thanks!
Answers:
Get your drunkest friend a lime, a salt shaker, and a vacuum cleaner and have them suck it out.
Use a wet vac or car wash vac to get most of it, then spray it with foaming carpet shampoo, let it dry, and vac it out again. Should take care of it.
FRABREZE... oh and shampoo your carpet at the car wash
Use a regualr shampoo that works for whatever surfaces it spilled on, and leave it out to air out as much as possible.
resolve carpet cleaner and a stiff bristle brush. scrub the hell out of it, then spray a whole damn bottle of fabreze in it. Or use the shampooer at the car wash place.
This happened to me with a bottle of Mezcal and Jack Daniels. it was a wild night.
on the seat?
just wipe it up with carpet cleaner rinse and repeat
on the floor?
spill some vinagar on the spot stinky & strong at first ... it will evaporate in a day or so.
If its on the removable floor pads?
just pick em up and throw them in your washer.
not the dryer
