I love OXI-clean - I've removed even red wine stains with it! Directions on the bucket.
cold water and SOP always dose the trick do not i re pet do not used carpet cleaner cause it will believe it or not make the stain bigger then it is
Try first with SALT and cold water, Put cold water ,then add the salt , leave like this for 10 min´s or so or until you see the stain lifting. It should lift out. Or try with a little white wine, white wine removes red wine stain´s and removes fruit juice stains too
I would suggest steam cleaning the spot. Soda has sugar in it and it will get sticky and is hard to clean up. Also I would use carpet cleaner with the steam cleaner if that does not work try shout. Then steam clean the spot. The shout would probably get the orange spot up. If you use the shout try it on a cleaning towel first then use on carpet making sure the carpet will not fade.
rubb some shaveing cream onto the soda stain and then wipe the carpet with clean rag or use carpet spray.
Blot up as much moisture as possible. Pour club soda on the spill, use a lot as the carbonation in the soda will bubble up the spill so that you can blot it up. Cover the spot with clean rags or towels and stand on them. This will help absorb the spill. Continue to pour and absorb until all the color is gone. Follow with a carpet stain remover like Spot Shot Instant Carpet Stain Remover, which is my favorite.
