yes i hang mine out conserving energy . take note here people save energy,
Yes, that's true. I don't think I've ever dried my laundry outside.
I love to hang my sheets out...
I live in an urban area, the houses in my development are about six feet apart, we have a common backyard that runs the length of the street (short side street). We can't put up any kind of permanently installed clotheslines. The one time I put drying racks in the backyard, some kids came running through and knocked them all over into the dirt. I ended up having to wash everything all over again.
That said, I use drying racks or just hang up a lot of things in the house to dry. A lot still ends up in the dryer though.
I love to hang laundry outside to dry, but it's not feasible where I live.
Only back in the 1950's! hahaha
who gives a crap?
For the most part, that would be true. Most neighborhoods like the ones we live in have covenants (rules) and don't allow you to hang laundry outside. It's not terribly attractive. I can't imagine hanging clothes out where the dirt and dust are flying after spending the time to wash them.
My neighborhood frowns at such activities.
Myself and nearly everyone I know uses the dryer instead of a clothesline. It saves a lot of time and the clothes don't feel stiff like they can on a line. Also, the birds can't poop on my sheets any more like the time they did when I tried it!
More and more of the new housing developments don't allow clotheslines. I would love to have a clothesline, but can't...I do have a short clothesline hidden behind a bamboo shade on my back porch, but it's only big enough for a few items and if someone complains I'll get a letter of reprimand from the association (snobs)..
I can't stand the smell of the clothes when they are hung out to dry:( I perfer the dryer and some fabric softner sheets:) Smells much cleaner...
I dry my clothes outside if the weather permits. Saves me money and I love the smell of clothes on the line :)
