Cleaning house?
Question:okay I'm thinking about giving up my home daycare to clean houses instead.
What are the going rates per house? I already clean my friends house( Main floor & top floor only) She pays my 125.00 . Is that the norm(it seems good to me) also if you clean a 3 story home how much more do you charge

I charge depending on the size of the house (how many rooms they want cleaned), depending if I use my own products, how often they want cleaned, I charge less for homes I visit more frequently, and the first couple of times I go I charge by hour $15 and after a few visits I'll know how long it will take me and I give a flat rate.

I pay my housekeeper 45.00 per visit. She cleans my 3br townhouse in 3 hours. .now, that translates into 15.00 per hour. I think that is a reasonable rate. Your question is kinda vague, but the best answer I can give you is what are you worth per hour? That is what the rate is.your worth per hour.
normally you charge by hour...say your going rate is 15 and hour then you clean for 6 that is a total of 90 dollars
