My cover used to be so soft and cuddly (like fleece or whatever) but now it is rough and itchy. How make soft?
Question:How do I make it soft again? The fabric softner I use doesn't seem to help. I only just started using the fabric softner on it so maybe that's my problem? Maybe I should have always used fabric softner on it to maintain its softness? Can I fix it or is it too late?

hmm if your dryer is too hot it will make fleece crunchy, if that is the case it is too late. fleece should never be dried. it is best to tumble dry with a bounce sheet.
I would not dry my fleece cover. When washing fleece wash it on delicate cold water and then put in dryer for 5-10 minutes then take out let air dry. I wear fleece tops in the winter I never dry them all the way dry them to get wrinkles out 10 minutes the max then air dry.
Pop it back in the washing machine, use the coldest setting. When the cycle is almost finished add the softener. Also don´t let it dry to much if you use the dryer, best iron it when it´s humid
