Quick Help! I need to get wrinkles out of a graduation robe!?
Question:I can't use an iron, because it says you can not.
I tryed to soak down the spots, and stick it in the dryer on air fluff setting, and the wrinkles are there!
We even tried to steam them out by putting it in the bathroom, and getting the bathroom all steamy
What do I do? I leave for graduation in less than an hour!!
thanks.
Answers:
I would try putting a damp towel over it and iron it with a warm (not hot) iron.
And Congratulations on your graduation!
heat it up at 500 degrees F in an oven for 25-30 minutes then shake it out
dude use an iron, on like the lowest setting with no steam, it'll be fine. test it in an inconspicuous area..
Dampen the area then hold it taut while you use your blow dryer to dry it...good luck and congratulations!
Ever heard on an Iron? there are different settings for different material types.
well, you like heat up with a hair dryer, or jsutwet it and dry it real fast with a bunch of hair dryers but while you doing that you ahve to put you hand or soemthing heavy and spread it straight! good luck with graduation.
Use the very lowest setting on the iron, start at the bottom in case something goes wrong, no one will see. My wife just did my master's robe like this and it worked perfect.
hehe i worn a t-shirt with a pizza stain on my grad ^^ anyways perm press on dryer.
yes, dont iron it whatever you do!! you can steam it with the iron though .. hang it up and bring the iron CLOSE to it but NOT ON IT!! and press the steam button! that usually works! Im not sure if you can put it in the dryer, but that always works to get wrinkles out! I wouldnt put it on air fluff though .. put it on medium heat for a few minutes.
if not, dont worry about it!! have fun at graduation! congratulations! =)
you can iron on low setting with a towel between the rob and iron never let the iron set in one spot jeep moving it
you have to iron with a piece of cloth between the iron and the robe. place a dishtowel or pillow case on the robe and iron as usual.
