How to get rid of mothball smell in whole house?

Question:Please only give me suggestions that you have personally tried and found true, Thanks.

Answers:
It may not be in the budget, but an under coat of oil-based "Kills" primer with a full coat of paint will- without a doubt get the job done.

Good question, I try using mothballs to get rid of bats and it did not work, now part of my house stinks to mothballs.
Tell your grandmother to move out.
bake an apple pie (from the grocer's freezer) in your oven.

I'm not kidding.
I tried alot of different remedies when I first rented an older home and nothing worked...the only thing that ever made a difference was when i was able to open all the windows and doors when Spring arrived and air out the house for days and days...i put box fans in several windows ..some blew in air .others sucked it out..hope you can do this in your area and it helps.good luck
