How Do I Get Rid of Bleach Stains on a Polo Shirt?? Please Help!!!?

Question:I need help really bad!! I was trying to get rid of simple stains on my RL polo shirt with a Clorox Bleach pen. I know that sound stupid but I did it and I am paying the price for my mistake! After using the product, it left me with big white circles in my shirt that I cannot get rid of!! I tried soap and water, scrubbing it but nothing works. Does anyone have any solution to getting rid of the white bleach stains left on my blue polo shirt?? I will give a best answer point to the person who gives me the possibility of removing these ugly stains!!

Bleach Spills on Clothing
Bleach is not a stain, it removes color; therefore there is no stain to remove. However, if you spill bleach on a single-colored article of clothing, you can try using Rit dye to restore the color. It is very effective, and quite easy to use - you can even do the entire process in your washing machine. It comes in a wide range of colors, so you should be able to find a color to match, or you can even mix two or more of the colors. The color is as permanent as any clothing dye, so it will fade, but not any more quickly than other dyes normally do. After you have completed the dying process, you can help to set the color by soaking the items for an hour in a solution of 1/2 cup vinegar, 1/2 tablespoon of salt and 1/2 gallon of water. If the rinse water shows color after an hour, repeat the procedure. Good Luck! =)

It's not a STAIN, but an area of fabric that you have stripped of all dye. The only way you could possibly cover it up is to take a permanent marker that matches the color and draw it in (quick, half-a**'d fix), OR you could re-dye it by getting dye at a place like Michael's, MJ Designs or Hobby Lobby, but honestly that is probably not worth the trouble. That's all I got for that...
sorry to tell you but bleach removes the color. it's not so much a stain but a lack of colored dye now. You could re-dye the shirt in those spots but I'd say it's a cleaning rag now. Even if you re-dye it, don't expect a good match
You can't. The problem is that they aren't stains. The bleach has actually removed the blue dye from the shirt... leaving it white.
The only thing you can try at this point is to bleach out the rest of the shirt to match the spots...other than that, it is garbage. Expensive lesson learned.ya might want to invest in a Tide pen for future stains and not so much a bleach pen. Sorry to hear of this.
Soak it in a bucket full of clorox bleach.. you might as well get a white Polo RL shirt (..or maybe a weird looking off-white)!
you cannot remove them. Bleach eats color. it doesn't "add" white.
Sorry, but that is not a stain in your shirt. You have ruined the color of the shirt because the bleach in the pen removed the DYE. There is no way to put the dye back in.

You really cannot salvage the shirt now, even if you tried to re-dye it. Re-dye the polo shirt would not work because
1) the area that is now bleached will continue to look lighter than the rest of the shirt, even if re-dyed
2) if you have an embroidered logo, it may dye as well, ruining the look
3) the knit fabric used for the shirt itself and the knit fabric used for the collar and sleeve cuffs will look different when dyed due to the difference in the fabric structure (pique knit versus double rib knit)

Sorry, but the shirt is ruined!
IS THIS GUY 4 REAL!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...
If you really love this shirt, and you're willing to go to the extra trouble and it's a solid color shirt, then Rit is the answer. The person who said that dyeing the shirt again with rit dye will leave the white spots lighter than the rest is correct. However, if you first use Rit Color remover to get the shirt completely white, then follow that up with a colored Rit dye, then you can make a completely new shirt. You also have the added benifit of picking your fave color. Remember to follow the directions EXACTLY as they are on the box of rit. If it is a dark color or bright color, it is especially important to put in the recommended salt.
