Help a pen exploded in my dryer! Best Ideas to get out the ink?
Question:I have already tried magic eraser, fantastic, and hairspray...these didn't work at all. Is there a product out there that will work? I also got it on some colored shirts - but I am more concerned about getting the dryer clean first. Please help!

Soak a load of rags or old towels. Then dry them for a couple of loads once the ink does not transfer any more you are safe to dry again. I had this happen to me and solvent was suggested, but I didn't have to go to the trouble, its been okay!
I had the same problem, even though i tell my husband to make sure his pockets are empty!!
I have been unable to get the pen off. It dried to the wall and numerous uses later has still not gotten on any clothes, not even the whites.
Methylated spirit works quick to remove ink and grass stain´s . Use a soft cloth or rag, then rinse or wipe with warm water
Try Goof Off. Also, the hairspray thing used to work for me. Not the liquid kind - use the aerosol kind.
Rubbing alcohol takes permanent marker and ink off of clothes and hard surfaces. Best is the 99% proof stuff you can get at the drug store. Good luck!
