HELP ME! i ruined my dress!how do i fix it?

Question:I just got this stretchy cotton dress, really cute, and i accidently spilled clear nail polish on it. Is there anything i can do? does anyone know any home remedies? please help! thanks a bunch!

Remove Nail Polish Stains From:
Acrylic Fabric, Burlap Cotton, Linen, Modacrylic,
Nylon, Olefin, Polyester, Rope, Spandex

Scrape the excess. Test acetone on an inconspicuous place. If fiber color doesn't change, flush acetone through the stain to an absorbent pad. When no more stain is being removed, change pads and flush well with dry-cleaning solvent. Allow to dry thoroughly.

Use some mineral spirits on the spot. be very carful
