Pour on some White Vinegar on the stains then rub the fabric together a little then wash in washer filled with the hottest water the fabric can handle then pour in one cup of white vinegar to the water to which no added detergent or fabric softner wash on full cycle after removal from machine do not add any fabric softner as vinegar softens and removes stains and odor and will give your wash a less static and almost lint free wash it will also disinfect and is touted as being the best disinfectant in the world Good Luck !
A good pre-soaking in Borax powder (& hot water) will do the trick. Soak in Borax, then wash with detergent as usual.
Quite often I will add a scoop of Borax powder to extra dirty loads of laundry just to "help" the detergent.
