You can generally wash and dry them, but it might not always remove the stink. I found a product last year called "Fresh Force" by Kiwi shoe care. http://www.kiwicare.com/us/products/mult...
This spray is unbelievable at making stinky shoes smell fresh! My boys are athletes with sweaty feet, and one quick spray of this stuff takes care of the problem. It blew me away how well it works! I think I just bought it at Wal-Mart or Target, so it should be available almost anywhere.
buy new ones.
First remove the inner sole, you can buy new ones once the shoes are dry. Soak your shoes in cold water , wash them with natural soap, rinse them well. If you have nice hot weather , then put them in the sun to dry. If the weather is bad where you live a good way of getting your shoes dry supper fast is to do this. Fill the inner sole“s of your shoes with normal rice, put as many clean clothes or rags inside , and leave them some where warm over night . They will be dry next day
you should try to soak them in white vinegar i heard is the best thing to use against odor goood luck
First place crumpled up newspaper in the shoes, then leave it there for at least one to two nights after this treatment is done, then sprinkle Baking soda in shoes and leave overnight, the next day you just shake out and if you want to keep your shoes fresh just sprinkle baking soda in them each night upon retiring and in the morning just shake out or stuff with crumpled up newspaper thats it Good Luck !
Get one of those net laundry bags--used usually for lingerie--they sell them all over. Wet them first, then spray them down really good with something like spray and wash. Let it soak in for a few hours at least. Then throw them in the bag and wash them.
It works good when you wash with towels but, it's really better to wash them in cold. I have also scrubbed them with cleaner, water and a brush. Just on the outside tho. You might have to throw them away anyway. OR do both, scrub first then wash.
Wash them, By the way start wearing clean socks and use foot powder.
First you have to dry them of course. I would fill them with crumbled newspaper and put them outside to dry, Unless it's raining out. Duh!. When they are dry I would them spray them with Febreze. Dry and odors gone.
