i use clorox clean-up bleach on my carpet stains in the house and in the cars. it don't bleach it and it works great. i have dark gray carpets
Call a professional ! It is hard to get any stain out of carpet. Leave it to someone who knows what your carpet is made of and what cleaners- specifically professional cleaners - will remove it. I clean carpets for a living and the number one mistake people do is try a home remedy, and this generally SETS the stain.
Sponge and soapy water don't saturate the sponge though. If that dosen't work go to your local garden centre and hire a rug doctor that really cleans your carpets. Also why you are at it you can clean other place because you can hire it all day. Its goo dvalue for your money.
OOPS or GOOF-OFF on a rag wipe up charcoal area
